Are you competitive? Have you ever wanted to be a stock broker or trade commodities?

Does the energy found on a trading floor or the challenge of owning your own business appeal to you?

Our company and team are growing. We are seeking traders who want to start or build their careers. With decades of experience behind us, we are committed to the future of wholesale lumber trading. A career at Buckeye is unlike any other, where you are rewarded for innovation, hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Buckeye is located on the Willamette River in Portland, OR. Portland is culturally diverse and includes numerous parks and gardens, microbreweries and food cart pods, one of the nation’s leading science museums and the Oregon Zoo – all in or around downtown Portland.

Living in Portland means you can spend one day exploring tide pools at the Oregon Coast, and the next hiking or skiing on Mt. Hood. Either are only 90 minutes from Portland. The scenic Columbia River Gorge and local wineries are just a 30 minute drive.

Sports fans have options, too. They can watch the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center, catch ice hockey action with the Portland Winterhawks, or join the Timbers Army at a Portland Timbers soccer game

Buckeye encourages and participates in volunteer work. As a company, we are involved with numerous local charities. We donate both time and funds.

Our Terry Simpson Award was created in memory of Terry Simpson to honor his spirit of giving. Each year, monies are donated to the award recipient’s charity of choice.
