GREEN DF & TIMBERS
As Buckeye’s newest department, we are eagerly building our business and customer base. Our customers are mostly on the west coast, but we are also looking for partners to ship further east on truck and rail with. We are looking to build long lasting partnerships, not just one-off orders. We trade all forms of Green Douglas Fir. Our team of two includes a military veteran and a seasoned lumber industry pro who happens to also be a hillbilly and master hunter.
We specialize in:
- All grades including Economy, Utility, #3, STD&BTR, #2, #2 premium, #1, and S.S.
- Rough cut and S4S products
We can also specify heart spec if needed (box heart, 70-80% free of heart, 100% free of heart)

- 2×4 – 2×14
- 4×4 – 4×12
- 6×6 – 6×16
- 8×8 – 8×16
- 10×10 – 10×16
- 12×12 – 12×16
Typical lengths range from 8 – 24 feet; longer lengths and special order trims are available upon request.

Justin Boyer
Green DF & Timbers
Justin has so much to be proud of – he started as a “cleanup kid” at a wood treating plant in 2001 and is now a successful trader for Buckeye Pacific. In addition to spending time with his wife, 6 children, dogs, chickens, and goldfish, Justin is a true outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking. A nugget of wisdom from Justin: “If you always tell the truth, you never have to remember what you said.”
Michael Cranfill
Trader
Michael was born and raised in Camas, WA. He started his lumber career in a local sawmill working his way from laborer to forklift driver and eventually taking his skill set into the reload sector. After 8 years operating and managing reload facilities in Portland, OR and Indianapolis, IN Michael came to Buckeye in 2022. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his dog Lucy and roaming the woods of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
Josh Hetland
Green DF & Timbers
Buckeye Pacific is very lucky that Josh joined our team in 2019. He boasts many accomplishments, including bachelor’s degrees in business and psychology from Oregon State University. He is also an Army infantry veteran. Josh enjoys fishing with his fiance Sydney and their golden retriever Hallie.
Tyler Hieb
Dimensional Lumber & Green DF
Tyler became a part of the Buckeye team in the fall of 2020. He is an Oregon Institute of Technology graduate, where he studied Operations Management and played on their national championship team. He enjoys wake surfing, playing basketball, and going on hikes.
WHAT WE TRADE
Buckeye Pacific trades a variety of lumber, panel, and industrial products. We also manage ready-to-ship inventory at locations across North America to provide product where and when you need it.
