Responsibilities & Duties
- Daily correspondence with business contacts to build relationships
- Communicate product availability and current prices clearly
- Negotiate prices for the purchases and sales of product
- Manage the order process and its details
- Business development, includes exploring new products, market niches and opportunities
- Collaborate with other traders to increase sales volume
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, specifically relationship building and customer service
- Knowledge of and experience with sales strategies
- Ability to work independently on a trading floor
- Confidence and a self-starting attitude
